• What we provide: - 2Hot2Handle is contracted to play music as agreed for the times detailed in this contract. If any significant changes are required please make a note on the signed sheet you return or discuss it with us on the phone.
We will provide all of our own audio equipment and lighting systems. If incidental music (between us playing) is required please let us know.
Inclusion of special songs is sometimes possible. If so we need at least 4 weeks to prepare. Please let us know as soon as possible.
• Playing Time: - The agreement details the length of time we expect to play for. If we are required to play for significantly longer than the agreed time this is charged at a rate of £200 per half hour.
• Set up times: - 2Hot2handle is a large and professional band; it takes us approximately three hours to setup and sound check. We realise we normally need to arrange this around your event so that we do not get in the way or make too much noise during speeches etc. So please think about the logistics so that we can unload our equipment into the venue and a good time for us to do a sound check. The sound check takes about 30 minutes, unloading takes about 30 minutes. We will do all we can to be as flexible as possible on this.
• Staging: - We need a stage area of around 4m x 6m with mains power and a small space near the opposite end of the room for a sound engineer.
• Dressing Room: - We need a dressing room capable of taking 9 people.
• Food: - We are usually at the venue for many hours and cannot get away to organise food, so we ask that you provide food and drink for 10 people in between the Swing and Dance 1 sets.
• Terms: - We ask for a 10% deposit in advance and the rest a cash settlement on the day of performance.
• Cancellations: - Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the event date will be charged at 50% of the agreed fee.
